The Federal Authorities has commenced the verification of poultry farms affected by the outbreak of fowl flu in Kano State, in recent times.
Already, a group from the Federal Ministry of Finance had arrived Kano for the train, in preparation for the fee of excellent compensation to all affected poultry farmers within the state.
Dr Shehu Bawa, the Director, Veterinary Companies, Kano State Ministry of Agriculture and Pure Assets, disclosed this in an interview with the Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) in Kano on Thursday.
He mentioned the group was anticipated to go to particular person farms affected by the illness, with a view to making sure that the figures have been in consonance with those within the reviews earlier submitted to Federal Authorities.
Bawa additionally mentioned that the group would work with officers of the state Ministry of Agriculture to make sure the success of the project.

“So we hope farmers will give the group the mandatory assist and cooperation to make sure the success of the project,” he added.
