Federal Government declares Monday May 1st public holiday

Monday, Might 1st, 2017 has been declared as public vacation to commemorate the 2017 Staff’ Day Celebration.

Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (rtd.), Minister of Inside, made the announcement on behalf of the Federal Authorities in a press release on Friday by the Director, Workplace of the Everlasting Secretary, Ministry of Inside, Alhaji Muhammadu Maccido.

He congratulated Nigerian employees for his or her resilience, arduous work and dedication to the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari regardless of present challenges

The minister urged them to proceed to help the President “in his want to combat corruption, guarantee safety of lives and property, and stabilize the economic system by means of creation of jobs and diversification of the economic system.”

Dambazau additional urged the employees to re-educate themselves to the service of the nation and to stay productive for the expansion and growth of the nation, significantly now that the federal government is embarking on the implementation of the Financial Restoration and Progress Plan.

The minister needs all Nigerian employees a joyful and peaceable celebration, the assertion added.
